Breathe, Bro.

Welcome to The Zen Den – Less Scroll, More Soul.

OPENING SUMMER 2025

Ready to take a break from the scroll and actually feel good? The Zen Den is a teen-only mindfulness adventure where we ditch the screens and reconnect with nature, creativity, movement, and ourselves.

Led by a certified holistic wellness mentor and mother of two teens, this experience is thoughtfully designed to help young people reset emotionally, connect authentically, and explore tools for managing stress in a relaxed, playful, and zero-pressure space.

Tucked away on 9 peaceful acres, this digital detox day is all about trading texts for real talks, likes for laughter, and burnout for balance.

 What’s in the Zen Den?

  • Yoga & Meditation

  • Sound Healing

  • A swimming pool to splash, float, and cool off your mind

  • A batting cage to smash stress and swing into your power

  • A creative zone for painting, journaling, music, or just vibing

  • A cozy acoustic sound bed for deep rest, reset, and inner calm

  • Mindfulness sessions that feel more like a breath of fresh air than a classroom

  • Acres of open space to roam, reflect, and just be

Why Play Matters:
Play isn’t just fun, it’s essential for emotional and cognitive health.

  • Play helps teens build empathy, problem-solving, and resilience. (American Academy of Pediatrics, 2018)

  • It boosts brain development, social connection, and overall well-being. (Brown & Vaughan, 2009)

  • Engaging in playful movement and creativity also reduces cortisol and increases dopamine, which supports a more positive mood and focus. (National Institute for Play)

 Why Unplug? Why Now?

  • Teens who spend more than 3 hours a day on social media face double the risk of mental health issues, including anxiety and depression. (JAMA, 2019)

  • Just 10 minutes of mindfulness a day can significantly reduce stress and improve focus. (American Psychological Association, 2020)

  • Time spent in nature improves mood, creativity, and even lowers cortisol levels, the body's stress hormone. (Frontiers in Psychology, 2019)

Bonus: No phones, no filters....just the real you, reconnecting with your calm.

The Zen Den is more than a break. It’s a whole-body reset through play, presence, and peace.

Come unwind, express yourself, and feel the shift.
Your nervous system and your inner child will thank you.
